Top 4 Highlights Of Path Of Exile War For The Atlas - DAY 33
Here at R4PG.com, we have had a lot of fun with the most recent Path Of Exile update, War For The Atlas. We have heard from many of you fellow players who have come here to buy Path Of Exile orb that you have been having a blast with it too. Well, the expansion has been out for around a month now and we wanted to share with you our thoughts and what we feel are some of the highlights of this expansion to Path Of Exile!
Top4: Lots Of New Maps
The work that Grinding Gear Games has done of the new maps is just fantastic. There are some new unique maps, but as well as this there are some that have been reworked from the fall Of Oriath as well. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the maps, apart from the monsters and new bosses of course. Is the way they feel so different, one moment you can be in the Acid Lakes and then the next you are waging war in the Moon Temple. GGG has clearly made sure that there is a lot of variety to the maps in The War For The Atlas and that makes the game much more fun to play.
Top3: The Elder Guardians
In the run up to Path Of Exile, The War For The Atlas many people (us here at R4PG.com included) were really focused on the big bad, The Elder. Adding in a new endgame level kind of boss was awesome. However, before you do this, you have The Elder Guardians to deal with. The Eradicator, The Constrictor, The Purifier and The Enslaver are the four Elder Guardians, each one has their own style and each one is going to really test your skills. The Elder Guardians are just so cool that someone at GGG has to be thinking of a way of getting these guys turned into action figures!
Top2: The Elder Himself
The Shaper was already a really cool boss and big evil in the world of Path Of Exile. Adding in another was a rather risky move, but we love the Elder and how his minions will pretty much just suck all the color out of a map. Many of us have spent most of our time trying to stop The Elder rather than The Shaper.
Top1: The Abyss
The Abyss Challenge League is awesome and many Path Of Exile players are saying that this is the best one yet. Of course, the idea is that you need to find the cracks in the map, cracks lead to a hole in the ground, defeat all the enemies, follow the next crack, rinse and repeat. This is a very rewarding mode that gets more and more challenging as you play. It is the kind of mode where you keep saying to yourself, just one more go and then you find that you are still playing an hour or two later.
Of course, there are plenty of new skill gems, unique items and much more that all add up to The War For The Atlas being the best expansion to POE so far. We would love to know what your favorite parts of War For The Atlas are and make sure you are checking out our hot sale where you can buy POE currency/items cheap and trust us, you will need it to take down the Elder!
